Her Song Jewelry-Jewelry That Remembers
When I first sat down to make jewelry, I wasn’t thinking about starting a business—I was just playing with something that had always fascinated me: my Mother’s jewelry box.
As a teenager, I’d open that magical box and feel like I was stepping into my Mother’s world. I adored her and every jewelry piece seemed to have a story, a past, a little bit of sparkle!
Being a seamstress, it was no wonder that my mother had a beautiful collection of sparkly, eclectic buttons—each one full of character, much like her. One day, I gathered a few and made a bracelet just for her.
That simple act of love blossomed into something greater, as I began creating bracelets for family, friends, church members, and neighbors who were touched by their charm.
Little by little, Her Song Jewelry was born—planted in love, watered by community, and inspired by the joy my mother shared so freely.
Years passed. My mother—my biggest inspiration and the elegant heart of our family—began showing signs of Alzheimer’s.
Her Song Jewelry, at that point, became much more than a business, it became a bridge: between past and present, sorrow and celebration, memory and meaning.
I’ve come to believe that jewelry can do more than shine. It can comfort. It can speak volumes. It can help us remember who we are and who we’ve loved.
Many of my clients come to me holding stories of their own—stories of mothers, fathers, grandmothers, friends.
Some are caregivers. Some are grieving. Some are simply looking for something to feel close again.
It’s an honor to help create keepsakes that hold these stories tenderly.
If you’re holding on to a button jar, a necklace, or even just a story, I’d be honored to help you turn it into something beautiful.
“Jewelry can’t replace a person—but it can carry their memory.”
